Have Some Composure

My training partners have been dropping like flies. This translated means, they have been getting girlfriends and staying in bed past noon. Ranno hasn't made a guest appearance in a while but finally after six phone calls I convinced him to crawl out from the covers and chamois up.

My quest for the wheelie still runs thick but I have taken a slight diversion, teaching others the "super man" techniques I have mastered. Gretchen Reeves was my last victim and she nailed it straight away. If you can't master the wheelie, don't discriminate, there are plenty of other moves for us "special" people.

I have this love/hate relationship with my hardtail. She is super light and feels like a rocket but vibrates me senseless on any ride over an hour. I spend more energy debating which bike to race than I do on the actual race itself. Sometimes I think it would just be easier if their was one trusty steed in the stable, rock what you got.

Lets see if I can hold on to her during Tuesday's AMBC epic Firecracker 50 in Breckenridge, CO.

If you are looking for some new music, check out these bands which have been on my playlists as of late:

The Spill Canvas, Head Automatica, Pinback, Zap Mama, Panic! At The Disco

"stupid question" In the Tour De France, bikes cannot weigh less than 14.99lbs... is their a weight limit for MTB's?
