A Little Help Please?

I knew I should have knocked on wood....

My knee was nearly healed and the singletrack was just starting to heat up.... literally.

Maybe I was a little too anxious and jumped the gun early when I lined up at Boulder's own Wednesday night short track. You can't blame a kid for loving to ride his bike.... Well two laps into it I ate my famous last words, "I just won't crash". Opps.... sorry Mom.

Well my stitches bursted like a phat guy in a little coat and I now am left torn, battered and bruised....again.

And I thought my paper cut from shuffling papers here in the office cube was bad-ass. Now you've got arm protection to start downhill racing.

Be sure to let that heal up. If you lose your leg that would be horrid. Be sure to eat properly too. They say jerky helps heal that faster. Good luck. Have a great weekend. Annette

Wow.

Well, shit.

All that said, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday.

I didn't think I'd be sending you a get-well card, too.

You just need some pure water out of the Mukwonago River to heal it. It works great on road rash.

Dude play the guitar and work on the steel string skills. There is a good enough excuse for another week off the bike.

Hopefully you are better. Those are some nasty first comments. You better be good to yourself. Get well soon. Tiffany

Martini,
Be cool with that knee...I know all about scars. Did I ever send you pics of a real scar??
You got a lifetime of racing to go...be good and chill on that road machine when you can.
