Pain In My Voice

this is an audio post - click to play

Picture is what it looked like in the village during our XC Race ... Epic!

Quote of the day:

Jason Sager at the start of the race, "Racing is like going to the Dentist, you know its going to hurt, its going to suck, but you got to do it anyway".

I never like to hear pain in my son's voice, so am glad to know the worst is over. My tomorrow's race be better to you. How does one recuperate after a race day like this and require the body to do it all over again? Where is the mind set? You'd think after all these years of your racing, that it would get easier for me to understand?! Love and prayers~ Mom

Seeing your mom post comments is the COOLEST thing! My parents never really understood my racing. I'm 37 now and they still don't get it. Mountain Biking, Mom and Apple Pie. Right on!
