Anywhere But Home

As the season continues to roll on, weekend after weekend, I have adopted a new mantra. As quickly as your heart rate retracts from its overzealous state of anaerobic delusion, your mind forgets the "feeling"... Pain is only temporary.

I have to give mad props to my teammate Brian Smith for winning this weekends AMBC Firecracker 50. B-man is uber fit right now and it is starting to pay off. An hour into the race, as I was dangling for life off the back of Brian's wheel, I reminded him, "Bro, we have to keep this up for 3 more hours".....He replied, "yeah I know".

I had to capture this moment in honor of Sager and this weekend's NORBA destination, Park City UT. The word on the street is that scooters are so hot right now.

Scope this, next years weapon of choice, Trek's carbon Top Fuel, is reportedly tipping the scales under 20 lbs. Not only is it lighter but the rear end is stiffer and the plastic rear bushings are replaced with smooth bearings increasing the efficiency and overall feel.... Sick.

Alright, enough of this bike squawk.... Time for me to tame this mane even Don King couldn't touch.

I am convinced that at night I turn into a muppet and in the morning my hair is the only proof left to show for it.
It'a a theory

I actually ended up rollin on the full sauce, for me I have decided that is a faster bike... keeps me relaxed and smoother on the downhills. Set up your bikes to your weaknesses....
