The Comforts Of The Day

The other day was a perfect example of how quickly things can change... One minute you are sweating through your eyeballs, the next minute your motor skills have shut down and simply trying to add becomes impossible.

Sure we saw the treatening clouds but in the moment it was 70 degrees. 20 minutes later we found ourselves in the midst of an unexpected epic adventure. Dressed for Arizona we were stuck at 10,000 feet with 6 inches of wet snow and now where to go but down.

Read the body language and multiply that by 100.... welcome to our world.

About once a year I have to get a "ride" home from my ride. I burnt this match early. What started at 9:30 am at 70 degrees ended at 5:00 pm at 40 degrees. Looking back and laughing.

Ah, but those are the rides that make you hard men! Just so happened I got caught in a similar situation on wed, except it was a downpour. What I would have given for it to be snow :)
