Shoes Tied Tight

It's official, the traveling circus is back at it again. I love how 100 of your closest friends from around the country will converge upon random places around the globe and it's like you just saw them yesterday. "So what have you been up to? Riding.... Yeah me too.... Sweet"

First race of the season is always pretty standard really, it's like the first day of school. Everyone's clothes are crisp and clean, their shoes bright white, and their legs even whiter.

Check out these fly custom kicks that Nike made up special for each of their top athletes....

They told Ross to pretend like he was wearing a cape... "Like this?" "Yeah perfect" (Photo credit John Laptad)

Laptad has been working with Trek for years shooting their latest lycra super heros. I think his photos speak for themselves....

One big happy family. (Credit John Laptad)

i thought when I was 7 that shoes with a red stripe on them made me run faster. I would rub the red stripe every time before running to make sure it was clean.

Could be the reason I ran so fast.....could have been an early sign of my OCD. Either way, glad to see you guys have the shoe stripe

If that "family" had kids, the US would dominate the world MTB scene.
Europe would have to secretly breed Gunn Rita and Julien Absalon to keep up.
Any children not interested in racing bikes could make their living as professional leg models.
